Pats Release Former Notre Dame Standout Mark Levoir Who Delieved One of the Most Memorable Hits In Patriots History

The Patriots have decided to part ways with Mark LeVoir. The 29 year old LeVoir was a standout lineman lineman at Notre Dame. He was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2006 by the Chicago Bears, and signed with the St. Louis Rams in 2007. In 2008 LeVoir joined the Patriots and spent three years in New England. During his stay in New England he doled out one of the most viscious hits in Patriots history, a block so devastating that it caused several New York Jets to call him out personally on national television. Although LeVoir was used as a back-up lineman, and many people didn’t even know who he was, he made an excellent play that made Patriots fans proud. For that one play, I will always remember Mark LeVoir

Heres a link to a video of that incredible block: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QviSo2F9jJQ
